Paramount Pictures Partners with OnBuzz and Selects Their Interactive Kiosk to Promote Blockbuster Movie, Ben-Hur.

OnBuzz partnered with Paramount Pictures to stage a VIP screening for 75 of the most influential Christian leaders in the country held at the Paramount Theater on the grounds of Paramount Studios.

Celebrities included Mark Burnett, the Executive Producer of Survivor, The People’s Choice Awards, amongst others along with the cable miniseries’ The Bible and AD The Bible Continues along with his wife, Roma Downey, star of Touched By An Angel. Also attending were Ben-Hur director, Timur Bekmambetov, and actors Jack Huston (Judah Ben-Hur), Nazanin Boniadi (Esther) and Toby Kebbell (Messala)

Numerous influential Christian leaders were present including Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church and author of The Purpose Driven Life, which has sold more than 30 million copies along with Bobby Gruenewald, LifeChurch.

Paramount Pictures is utilizing OnBuzz’s Interactive Kiosk to promote their upcoming film, Ben-Hur which will be released on 19 August. OnBuzz has installed patent-pending Interactive Kiosks in 8 of the 30 largest churches in the country including Lakewood Church in Houston, the largest church in the country, pastored by Joel Osteen and Saddleback Church in Lake Forest CA pastored by Rick Warren best ms project alternative. In total, OnBuzz has 12 mega-churches participating in 7 of the major media markets in the country.

Church attendees take “selfies” of themselves in front of a life-sized standee from the film. They are sent a text or email with access to a landing page where they select the photos they wish to share and watch a trailer on the movie.

For every one picture taken through the Interactive Kiosk more than five digital engagements are created and click-thru rates are as high as 4,000%. Initial results for Ben Hur indicate the Interactive Kiosk could be the most effective tool to engage church audiences ever created.
